Since 2003 Outcomes UK have operated an NVQ Centre and now have in progress over 20 NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care programmes with over 500 candidates.
We regularly achieve very high completion and satisfaction rates and attain these rates through:
o Delivering a focused set of optional units to meet the needs of the group.
o Being able to run groups throughout the UK in locations convenient for the candidates.
o Holding regular group sessions.
o Differentiating within group sessions to reflect the range of competence of the group.
o Offering a flexible approach to meet individual as well as group needs.
o Providing assessment in the workplace and/or carer households.
o Regular assessor contact and monitoring of competent candidates.
o The “Smartscreen” support to candidates on assessment.
o Providing telephone support to the candidates Monday to Friday.
Our NVQ is currently delivered to the following groups for the “Children & Young People” programme:
o Residential workers.
o Foster carers.
o Children’s support workers.
We are now able to provide the Health & Social Care Level 3 programme in the areas of: Adults, Youth Justice and Mental Health Services.
