What is a Practice Manager within a Family Support Service?
Practice Managers working within a Family Support setting are responsible for the recruitment and supervision of Family Support workers. As part of a programme to directly improve the lives of fostering families and the children and young people they care for, the Practice Manager will lead the team of Family Support workers, assess the quality of service being provided, and hold and attend meetings with various relevant bodies both internal and external to the company. As a Practice Manager you will be actively involved with the fostering families which your facility is supporting. The Practice Manager will be expected to direct strategy, represent the organisation at both a regional and national level, and work with multi-disciplinary teams to assess the quality and accessibility of the service being provided.
