What is a Children’s Centre Manager?

A Children’s Centre Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of the centre, and the team of staff who work within. As with any management job, the Children’s Centre Manager will be in control of the supervision of the team and the distribution of services. Working directly with children to improve their outcomes, as a Children’s Centre Manager, you will be expected to be confident in working with young people, leading a professional team and coordinating services according to the needs of your clients. As a Children’s Centre Manager, you will be expected to uphold high quality service provision and work according to the restrictions and regulations applicable to children’s care work. Children’s Centre Managers will also be involved in strategic development, offering suggestions and directing policy in order to improve the service you’ll have first-hand experience in providing.
