What is a Children’s Safeguarding Manager?

As Children’s Safeguarding Manager, you will be expected to take a senior role in strategy and the promotion of quality service. You will develop new initiatives, ensure high standards of care and generally oversee the safeguarding of all looked after children and young people in your area. The Children’s Safeguarding Manager is very similar to the average managerial position, requiring the supervision of more junior positions to ensure high quality service provision. However, you will also be required to become actively involved in the lives and outcomes of looked after children and young people, ensuring and reporting upon the service being provided.
