Associate Profiles
Outcomes UK Associates are all experts in their respective fields. Each Associate carries a minimum of three years’ experience in the Social Care sector.
In addition, through our internal QA system and Associate development programme, Outcomes UK ensures that learning and knowledge updates are widely spread and circulated.
Meet a selection of Outcomes UK Associates
Social Worker
Our Qualified Social Worker carries a total with 28 years’ post qualifying experience, originally working within Children and Families frontline services. After a short spell in Older People’s services, our Associate chose to specialise in Fostering and has worked as a Senior Practitioner, Independent Form F Assessor and currently works as a Reviewing Officer.
Fostering Manager
A Fostering Manager specialising in Short Breaks for Disabled Children has a wealth of experience in the fostering industry – working in both the statutory and voluntary sectors. Our Fostering Manager has 28 years’ post qualifying experience, with 10 years’ management experience, and has working knowledge of both the statutory and voluntary sectors. The Associate is highly skilled in managing change, budget management and people management.
Placements Manager
A Placements Manager registered with Outcomes UK has 15 years’ extensive Social Care experience. Our Placements Manager’s experience consists of Youth Work, Probation work, Residential work, Child Protection work, Court work, Looked After Children case work and has specialised in family placements over the past 9 years.
Practice Manager within a Family Support Service
Outcomes UK Associate, a Practice Manager within a Family Support Service, has 14 years’ experience working within Children’s Services. Our Practice Manager has previously worked as a foster carer on both a short term and long term basis. She was successful in maintaining placements with children and young people who had experienced several placement breakdowns, therefore having a great understanding of foster carers’ needs.
Registered Manager of an Independent Fostering Agency
Carrying 5 years’ experience as a Registered Manager of an Independent Fostering Agency, with the last 2 years as Service Manager. Our Registered Manager developed an Independent Fostering Agency from a small concern to a highly respected larger provider (which was rated by OFSTED as ‘outstanding’). He specialises in raising quality standards and outcomes for children.
Child Centred Practitioner
Registered with Outcomes UK is a Child Centred Practitioner and passionate advocator for children in the looked after system. Our Child Centred Practitioner is a team player and has experience working within teams, managing teams and providing leadership to multi-disciplinary teams and liaising with a range of agencies and stakeholders. Our Associate is a solution focused practitioner, experienced in managing and supporting others through change.
Social Worker
A Social Worker registered with Outcomes UK carries a wide range of experience in the fostering environment within Children’s Services. Our Associate graduated as a Social Worker 1988 and has since gained a wide range of experience across a range of roles. In 1999, the Social Worker took her first role within the fostering arena and chose to specialise in this area, working as a Supervising Social Worker, Senior Practitioner, Team Manager and IRO.
Children’s Services Manager
As a highly experienced Children’s Services Manager from a Social Care background, our Associate has had substantial Senior Governance experience in both the Health service and Voluntary sector.
Consultant Advisor
As a Consultant Advisor, our Associate has worked with organisations providing services for children and others in the Social Care sector, specialising in the Private and Voluntary sectors. Our Associate’s experience spans from 1985 to date, working successfully at all levels in organisations – from frontline worker, to strategic director and board member.
Senior Social Care Practitioner
Outcomes UK Associate, a Senior Social Care Practitioner, carries over 25 years’ experience in Local Authority Social Services, mainly in the Children’s Social Care Services. Working at all levels, from Frontline Practitioner to acting Assistant Director, our Senior Social Care Practitioner has many attributes to offer to clients.
